KNOCK KNOCK. Who’s there? ICE CREAM. Ice cream who? ICE CREAM EVERY TIME I READ THE NEWS WHICH IS WHY WE ALL NEED TO PUSH FOR MORE JOY AND COMPASSION!

The stairs of our beloved flagship shop in the Guerneville Bank Club have a new splash of vibrancy. The colorful stairs signify peace, a sign of hope and renewal, of grace, inclusivity, harmony, and of good luck. We want to celebrate the beautiful diversity of humankind and the power of unity. When you walk up our stairs we hope that you feel a joyful welcome 🌈💛 May empathy and peace prevail, and may there be a scoop (or two) of ice cream in your future!

These stickers are 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 and 100% of donations go to , suggested donation is $5, but feel free to be generous if you’re able! Sonoma County, you beautiful beings. We are our best selves when we aid others and the grand total of what YOU donated to VIDAS (so far!) was $4,061.32. That feels like hope. The high concentration of empathy in our ice cream shops on January 30th was calming to my soul, and I know that others felt it too. The ripples of your kindness are far reaching!

We want to continue the support for VIDAS, and lucky you, our stickers have arrived!! We will be donating 100% of the profits of our first small batch of stickers designed by to VIDAS. They are super badass and we couldn’t agree more with her.

Hello lovelies! The time has come to give our beloved Guerneville Bank Club scoop some needed love and attention. We are closing our doors on 2/2/26 at 4pm to get all set up and ready for the project list!

Our ice cream lounge at 123 4th St will be open regular hours ready for all of your sorbet mimosa, hand packed pint, grilled cheese, and ice cream needs! Our Guerneville shop will be back fresher than ever next week 💛💛💛

I am in awe. You, and the other beautiful individuals who graced our shops yesterday donated $4,008.85(!!!!!) to VIDAS (Vital Immigrant Defense Advocacy and Services). You did that! You showed up to help others in need.

After we closed our doors last night and tallied the donations I was left with goosebumps and wide eyes, and a feeling in my chest of pure elation at what we can do when we work together. Throughout the day I had the pleasure of chatting with a member of Veteran’s for Peace, children who’d dug into their piggy banks for donations, fellow mothers who I shared hugs and kind words with, groups of thoughtful teens, beautiful families both big and small, sweet smiling babies, and so many other wonderful open hearted community members. The vibe of the day was one of hope, and respect, and joy, and inspiring civic engagement. I am humbled by your generosity and your showing of empathy. I feel all the more inspired to speak up for what I know to be good and right. Thank you for that. All of it.

A special thank you needs to be said to our amazing staff. They are a phenomenal group of individuals. I am so proud to work alongside them and grateful to know each of them. Thank you for all that you do. Thank you for showing up for the community, for each other, and for my sister and I in so many ways. It makes me feel sentimental and mushy-hearted: we love and appreciate you.

Power to the people! May peace and justice prevail 💛✌️🌼

P.S. I would love to encourage more voter participation and registration. Maybe it’s time to start planning a get out the vote event?! I’ll bring the ice cream! Let’s gooooooooo!

Today should be fairly streamlined without the added steps of using the register or any other goodies for sale, but if you do find yourself in a significant line please remember to practice patience and grace, especially with our lovely staff! Hi friends, Your kindness and enthusiasm has been heartwarming. We want to carry that support forward and keep the momentum going! We aren’t closing our doors entirely tomorrow but it won’t be business as usual and you might want to get a little cash out today 😉

In solidarity with the national shutdown we are offering ice cream in exchange for a cash donation to be donated directly to the local nonprofit Vital Immigrant Defense Advocacy and Services. Scooped ice cream only. Cash only. No minimum or suggested donation, pay what you can, 100% of money collected will be donated.

Thank you to our wonderful staff who chose to make the fundraiser happen instead of having the day off! Be extra sweet to them. ♥️

Before ice cream came into my life I studied politics at a wonderful California university. The discussions were exhilarating and challenged me. They encouraged reflection. Everything is political. All of our life is political. It’s not a good or a bad thing, it’s just a fact.

It is political that my business uses organic local dairy to make our ice cream, it is political that I am anti-war, and anti-violence, and it is political that I believe in the deepest parts of my soul that we all deserve clean water, nutritious food, a safe space, and the freedom and dignity to be who you know yourself to be.

We have a responsibility to the community we serve to talk about what’s happening and to identify ourselves as safe people and safe places. What we’re seeing being perpetrated against communities across the country, to citizens and noncitizens alike, is abhorrent and antithetical to all that we do and believe, both professionally and personally.

We support our migrant community, and all those who make it their business to stand up for each other.
