💚It’s wind heat climate here in California - dry & hot with wind storms. Wind & heat are pathogens in Chinese medicine. They are generated internally and then become a match to the external climate, becoming externally contracted in addition to internally generated.
🤮I’ve noticed starting last year that during this season, I get a lot of jealousy and meanness from people in my life. This makes sense because so many people are liver chi stagnated, this stagnation causes heat, and eventually that heat rises to the head, eyes, neck and shoulders.
📋Chinese medicine is 50-50 physiological and psychological. There is not a distinction in signs and symptoms between mental illness and physiological illness because the non-physical or mental state of a person informs or determines their physical state. That’s taoism for you, if you don’t agree, we are allowed to have diverse beliefs and everything is ok.
⚡️It’s very interesting to me, as a Chinese medicine physician that the vast majority of my patients are on an impossible path of wanting to change their physical body, but not their psychological state. This is impossible because non-physical informs physical. There is no such thing as a physical manifestation that wasn’t generated by a non-physical manifestation.
☯️If you understand, Taoism or other types of indigenous science, then this makes sense to you. Otherwise, you might have to do some research into modern western physics, specifically string theory for this to kind of make a little bit of sense to you.
😖People who are extremely liver chi stagnated are holding on to a lot of stress. They have beliefs that won’t allow them to let go of many subjects of focus that cause them stress when they think about those subjects in their patterned form. So my job as your Chinese medicine physician is to help you sort out your thought patterns so that they can be there to help you heal rather than keep you sick. Please continue reading in comments…
