Hello everyone, my name is Sunny, and this was my family shop that named after me. It's been a while that I post anything on here, and I keep seeing people still come here and check out, that makes me feel so warm and I think I need to say something. As many people maybe already know, our shop permanently closed on 05/01/2023, and now there is a new owner running the business. He is a very nice person and has same boba loving energy, and he kept the full menu so if you love the drinks in Sunny's boba, you will still be able to get it there. The new name of the business is TeaSide Bubble Tea, Please come there and check out!
The main reason we closed the shop is because one of our owner--my dad Jeff (maybe a good amount of customers have met him before), he passed away last year in April. He's sudden passed was a big hit for my mom and me mentally and physically, we were struggling with the sadness every second but the same time so many things were waiting for us to get it down. I have to admit that I don't have enough knowledge and energy to keep the shop running by my own, and it's really hard to see the store everyday knowing that the man who was with me since day 1 now he's gone. So my mom and I decided to move out of Santa Rosa, that means we have no choice but to close the shop that we loved.
Sorry for my writing skills, this is the first time I finally have the encouragement to explain what was going on. This business experience taught me so much, and I met so many amazing people, I am so appreciated all of you who give us so many love and support and confidence in these 7 and half years, it means so much for me and my family.
And lastly I hope if you like Sunny's boba, please take a short second pray for my dad, he's name is Jeff, he is in heaven with god now. He is the reason that the boba shop was established. He drew the logo, that's one of the best gift he gave me.
