I would like to point out all the wonderful mom and pop businesses that have been harmed by all this beach nonsense. How do I know? Because I stopped at each and every one of them and asked how the beach access fight was affecting their volume. In some cases, their business was down as much as 30% due to tourists not coming back.

Last year our wonderful patrons voted us Platinum(1st Place) Best Lunch and Gold(3rd Place) Best Casual Restaurant. It feels like yesterday… but it has been about 20 years. The men shown here are my heroes… men that I had the honor of serving with. They were all killed in action… my friends, my brothers, my family, my heroes. I don’t know why I was spared… I think about it often. It’s tough to deal with in general… but especially today. But I will tell you this… I try to live my life in a way that makes them and their families proud. We often take our freedoms and way of life for granted, but we all need to remember that it came with a cost… a cost of the lives of young women and men over the course of centuries.
