We've recently added new coffees to our online selection! 🚨 Currently, we're featuring a heavy lineup of East African coffees that just stood out during our cupping sessions.

One standout is our Kenya Murang'a, situated just South of Nyeri. The red volcanic soil in this region provides abundant nutrients for tree growth, and the combination of warm daytime and cooler nighttime temperatures creates an ideal environment for beans to develop slowly, accumulating maximum sweetness. This Kenyan gem boasts tasting notes of pome fruit, ripe citrus, and black currant, making it an exceptional addition to your daily coffee ritual.

While nearby East African countries usually grab all the attention, our newest gem from Burundi is here to show that the smallholder, family-owned farmers in the Kayanza providence are bangers! This Burundi coffee, featuring the red bourbon varietal, is delightful with its vibrant berry notes and charming floral undertones. It's not just good; it's exceptional!

Hey ☕️ R&G family~Many of you have come to know and love our Swedish Market Man, Ivan.

We were blessed for Ivan to join our team through him and his wife’s journey in partner with Youth With A Mission. 🌊

While his next calling did take him from Florida- we are excited to share he is applying for his Green Card to continue to stay stateside as he finishes his studies with YWAM. This adventure comes with needed financial aid.

Good Day Coffee Comrades!

We have three new things happening this week.

One, we are launching a small batch rotation of exotic coffees. These will be an experience and something you probably wouldn’t want as a daily drinker/crush a whole pot of before work in the morning but more of a single delicate cup that you would use your pour-over, french press, aero-press, or any other coffee contraption that maybe your significant other thinks is too unnecessary, for. These will most likely be very tropical or complex and will not taste anything like what you would typically associate with the taste of coffee and will be offered in smaller 4oz bags.

Two, we are offering our first blend! This, unlike the exotics, will be a daily drinker “go to” coffee. The Gybe is a darker roasted blend of Central American and East African coffees with notes of cocoa, fruit, and nutty characteristics. When starting Rigs a little over a year ago, I never had any intentions of ever doing a blend but instead, only wanted to offer single origin coffees because that’s what I enjoy. While I still enjoy single origins that are brighter, more acidic, and more fruit forward, I’ve come to realize that people have different taste than I do and that some people just want consistency. While I’m sure some you enjoy the constant rotation of different origins and being able to try coffees from all over, having a consistent go to coffee can come in clutch.

Last and probably least, we are now offering 5lb bag options on certain coffees. I know 12oz’s of coffee isn’t a lot if you are caffeinating a house of 4 or you’re someone that drinks a whole pot to themselves, so hopefully now we can offer a solution that is more cost effective and will keep everyone from that terrible feeling when you run out of coffee.

This long post is due to me being terrible at updating social media so it’s all coming out at once. Sorry not sorry. I’ll will try to get better 😘

We are local coffee roasters in Santa Rosa Beach with a need for expansion and growing our team. At this time we are selling direct to consumers and at farmers markets only. Looking for someone interested in coffee as well as customer service. We are currently staffing the Niceville & Ft. Walton Beach farmers markets on Saturday's from 8/9a-1p (half hour set up and half our breakdown). Job duties include transporting tent, table and products as well as setting up display and products by 8am. Your main goal is sharing knowledge of the different coffee origins we offer to potential buyers in which we are happy to teach and is easy to learn. Other requirements are basic math skills for purchases and ability to track Inventory. We are hoping for someone eager to learn to continue our expanding markets to other locations!
