Fresh and Wholesome – To keep you in optimal health, we will serve fresh wholesome fruits and vegetables that are not over -processed. Unlike the chicken you typically find, ours is free range, hormone free, antibiotic free, and air chilled – not pumped full of water, phosphates, and other chemicals. Easy on the Sugar – In order to help you to reduce the amount of sugar in your diet, we avoid high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, and foods with excessive sugar. This is why you will not find the usual soda fountain at the Moxie. Stevia is offered as a no-calorie choice for sweetening teas and coffee. Purified Water for Superior Taste – The water served at the Moxie has been triple filtered. Our carbon filters remove all unwanted substances that may affect the taste. This pure water is used in our China Mist teas and our Farmer Brothers coffee. It just doesn't get any better than this! No Fryer – Fried food has many bad effects on your health. You will not find a fryer anywhere at the Moxie Café. No Tran-Fats – Trans-fats are known to clog your arteries and lead to heart disease. You will not find oils with trans-fats in our kitchen. Our salad dressings are made on the premises with olive oil. No MSG – We do not use ingredients with the neurotoxin, MSG. We avoid over-processed foods that often include these brain altering flavor enhancers. Friendly Relaxing Atmosphere –We will provide a comfortable, relaxing, and friendly atmosphere for you to dine. The Moxie is a great place to meet with friends, converse, collaborate, read, or study…and eat too! Well Connected – Free WiFi and wired internet connections are offered throughout the Moxie. Come find a quiet spot to surf the internet or get some work done. Low battery? There are numerous USB charging stations in our dining room. Al Fresco Dining – Our patio features a warm and sunny southern exposure, protected from the wind. Enjoy the sounds emanating from our lovely fountains. WiFi is offered here as well. Conference Rooms – Consider the Moxie as the venue for your next meeting. We have two private rooms that accommodate 15 people each or combined for 30. Have a larger group?
