The Dennis family lived in Alaska before bringing a taste of the Last Frontier to California’s Central Coast in 1988. Mike and Pam Dennis, and their two young boys, migrated from Anchorage, Alaska to Arroyo Grande, CA, in 1988 and opened the first Klondike in the Village of Arroyo Grande. The original name back then was Klondike Cafe. The Santa Maria location opened in 1996, and that's when they c

hanged the name to Klondike Pizza.

The universe has spoken. It says: " Get a pet."

On Saturday, June 6, adoption fees are waived at Santa Barbara Humane for California Adopt-a-Pet Day, a statewide celebration helping thousands of animals find homes. If you have been waiting for the “right time” to adopt, this might be it.

We will have dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens available at both our Santa Barbara and Santa Maria campuses, all ready to charm their way into your heart and onto your couch. Every available animal is already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so all that is left to do is find your match.

Join us Saturday, June 6, from 12 to 5 PM and see who is waiting to meet you. Warning: eye contact with an adoptable pet may result in spontaneous life improvement.
