The Dennis family lived in Alaska before bringing a taste of the Last Frontier to California’s Central Coast in 1988. Mike and Pam Dennis, and their two young boys, migrated from Anchorage, Alaska to Arroyo Grande, CA, in 1988 and opened the first Klondike in the Village of Arroyo Grande. The original name back then was Klondike Cafe. The Santa Maria location opened in 1996, and that's when they c

hanged the name to Klondike Pizza.
