Irene & Juan Aguilar at work in our gallery demonstrating their ceramic process on Saturday Aug. 15.

Juan & Irene are from Ocotlán, Oaxca in Mexico in the Zapotec region. The Zapotec are a major indigenous culture and ancient civilization in Oaxaca, and Irene/ her family are proud to be apart of it.

Drop in any time today Aug. 16 from 10-4 pm to witness the Aguilar's fantastic skills, refreshments provided.

Walter W. Nelson, esteemed artist, photographer, painter, author of books, adventurer, and dearest friend shall be deeply missed. Walter had shown his distinctive takes on our wondrous world for the last 30 years. It has been our distinct honor and privilege to represent his art and we shall continue to do so.

An adventuring landscape photographer, with his 8’ by 10' format Deardorff camera attached to a tripod hefted across his shoulder, he strode out to capture vast landscapes. Nelson has spent his life scouring the globe for outdoor grandeur. Nelson rounded up and brought us subtle beauty and surprises. He had an eagle's eye, as evidenced in his book; “The Black Place, Two Seasons.”
