It is with both sadness and gratitude that Kathleen and I announce our decision to sell the Eldorado Coffee Corral to our friend, Jeremy Meyer, who will be taking over Monday, June 1st.
After much thought, we realized that wobbly knees, a desire to travel, and the hope of truly retiring have been on our minds for quite some time. While this decision was not easy, we know it is the right time for us.
Owning this wonderful business has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. Over the years, we have had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people — even more than we had come to know during our 35 years in Eldorado. Many of you have become treasured friends whom we will carry in our hearts always.
Your support has meant everything to us. We will never forget the overwhelming kindness shown when so many of you came to help us move across the street two years ago. Moments like that remind us what a truly magnificent community this is.
We are excited for Jeremy and know he will be an excellent steward of the Coffee Corral. And don’t worry — you will definitely still see us around, as we fully intend to become regular customers ourselves.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your loyalty, friendship, and support throughout the years. We love you all more than words can say.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kathleen and Mark and Sam
