It’s gonna be warm, sunny, and extremely hang-out-able on the Wharf, so waiting until Friday to start the weekend seems irresponsible.

Honestly, there aren’t many places where you can spend the day looking at vintage woodies, listening to surf rock 50 feet from the ocean, and sipping a fresh pint. That’s a pretty Santa Cruz sentence.

💃 Sunday at 6PM, Salsa By The Sea turns the wharf into an open-air dance floor. Whether you’ve got moves or just enjoy people-watching with a beer in hand, it’s always a good time.

After careful review, your Tuesday has been selected for relocation to the Santa Cruz Wharf.

Please gather the following items:
✅ Yourself
✅ A friend (optional but recommended)
✅ An unreasonable amount of free time

Upon arrival, you will be assigned a waterfront seat and issued a cold beer. You may experience side effects including:
• staring at boats for longer than seems normal
• becoming emotionally invested in sea lion drama
• saying “wow, it’s nice out here” every 12 minutes
• accidentally staying until sunset

To assist with your transition, draft beer is $2 off all day long.

We knew hanging out on the Wharf with cold beer and live music was going to be a good time. We did NOT know so many of you would make it your personality for the summer (and honestly? Respect 🫡).

Every weekend has felt like a little tiny vacation. The sun is out, the beers are cold, the tunes are rolling, and suddenly that “we’re just gonna stop by for one drink” plan turns into watching the ocean for four hours and wondering where your entire day went.
