Our last day is tomorrow and RFM won’t be back until October, so make sure to stock up on your essentials now. 🍊

We’ll miss seeing all our summer ☀️ patrons, and we can’t wait to see our old (and new!) regulars in the fall. 🍁 Keep beating the heat! 🔥

☀️OPEN WEDNESDAY 08/26 AND THURSDAY 08/27 FOR THE LAST TIME THIS SUMMER! ☀️We will have eggs 🥚 and any remaining produce available, including bell peppers 🫑 , onions 🧅 , potatoes 🥔 , and garlic 🧄 . Dry goods, spices, and hygiene items 🧴will also be out.

As a reminder, this week will be the last time RFM opens and we won’t be back until October 🎃. Visit us now and stock up 🛒 on what you need for September before things run out. See you Wednesday! 🌻

🥭 Hope you’re enjoying a relaxing break so far! The free market opened for the summer ☀️ this Wednesday the 8th. We will continue to be available every 📆 Wednesday and Thursday from 12-5 PM until August 27th, 2026. Below is a schedule of some of the items offered each week in bulk:

July 8 & 9 | Proteins 🍗
July 15 & 16 | Nuts 🥜
July 22 & 23 | Yogurt 🍦
July 29 & 30 | Eggs 🍳

🐮CalFresh will also continue to be available during this time and you can check UCSC Calfresh Outreach Program to see their summer ⏰ hours.

She approaches every student with care and compassion. Jerica is our calming presence at the market, keeping us grounded and locked into our mission of supporting students from all walks of life. Congrats Carlin!! They joined us two years ago as a transfer student, and our time together was short and sweet. Carlin is, hands down, the nicest person you will ever meet. They have such a passion for supporting and advocating for their community, which is evident in their work at Redwood Free Market and with our CalFresh team.
