Thank you to all the people who helped bring home a local hero who had been missing for 75 years since the Korean War. We salute you and thank you for your service and welcome you back home. Service members help keep us safe and protect us so that we have our freedoms! This was amazing to see that after all this time his remains were finally returned home. Full Military Honors were scheduled for today. RIP soldier we appreciate you.

One of our traditions to keep vacation lasting just a little bit longer, is to try to replicate some of our favorite foods. Tonight we tried to replicate the ‘Ned Oakleys Bear Paws’ (formerly Beavertails) from Dollywood’s Splash Country. We tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Peanut Butter Chocolate, and the Cookies and Cream. Gotta say…everyone was pleased with how they turned out. What are your favorite flavor of Beavertails or Bear Paws?
