In the wake of the recent fires that impacted our Newhall community, we’re coming together for a special 4-Course Dinner dedicated to supporting our neighbors who were affected.

Join us for an evening of great food, good company, and community as we come together to give back. A portion of the proceeds from the dinner will be donated to help those affected by the fire.

One week. 💔

It's been a week since the fire and we are so heartbroken. We are still trying to wrap our heads around this tremendous loss. We miss the place that was a home away from home for us and our staff.

Looking back through senses block parties on Main St., the live music, the busy nights, our regulars, and all the faces that have been part of Newhall Refinery have us longing for our cozy home on Main St.

A restaurant is so much more than four walls. It is the people who fill them. We miss the noise of it all- the staff running around and laughing between tables, we miss seeing our regulars, meeting new guests, the “beers being poured”, cocktails being shaken, and getting to be part of your celebrations and lives.

Our hearts are broken and we are trying to keep our positivity. We still don't know exactly what comes next, but we are incredibly grateful for everyone who called this place their home and every guest who spent their time with us and supported our small business.

We miss you, Newhall ♥️!

This past week has been emotional for Main Street and our community. After experiencing great losses, we are opening our kitchen and bar to the lovely Newhall Refinery team on Thursday, September 17th. We’re welcoming you to come by and support their team as well as our dear friends at Care Tucker who will have a storefront to sell what remains after the fire. Eat, drink and shop all while listening to the country music of Rebel Heart ❤️

100% of proceeds from ticket sales will go to our friends affected by this tragedy. We will also have a silent auction of amazing baskets and art donated by many Old Town Newhall and Santa Clarita businesses.

We are so grateful for everyone who’s checked in on us. These are the beautiful souls that made the Newhall Refinery what it is! Tonight we gathered for a meal to see the team and check in. It was an emotional night of memories and reminiscing. These amazing people are why we do it. Our guest are why we do it. It was so wonderful to be with them today. As a small business you feel the responsibility, you don’t just buy a business, you’re buying a place where others also make their livihood. When you lose it all, you feel the responsibility that comes with that.

We are heartbroken not only for our loss but how this affects our staff and our neighbors who loss their dream on Main St yesterday. This is what is left of our restaurant a very special place in Old Town Newhall. We keep hoping we will wake up from a nightmare. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and outreach from the community thank you all for your kind words and prayers. We believe Newhall Refinery was one of the hearts of Old Town Newhall along with our neighbors Care Tucker Style House and The Main theater.

We are still trying to process this and there is a long road ahead while we navigate the future. We love serving the beautiful city of SCV in the charming town that is Old Town Newhall. Seeing our block reduced to rubble is so heart breaking. We think of all the beautiful memories we have made here, all the senses block parties and the christmas light up Main St events, the wonderful gathering our customers have celebrated with us birthdays, team meeting, weddings.

We are heartbroken for our whole team and neighbors who were affected by this. We have set up a go fund me to help contribute to our staff as this affects their livelihood and for what comes next for us, Newhall Refinery. If you can donate anything helps, please share with your friends and family. Thank you so much for the overwhelming support. To our customers we are heartbroken that we cannot serve you at this moment. Thank you for supporting our dreams all these years. We stand with our neighbors! As many of you have heard, early this morning a devastating fire affected our building and neighboring businesses in Old Town Newhall.
We are still processing what has happened and waiting to fully understand the extent of the damage. Most importantly, we are incredibly grateful for the firefighters and first responders who worked tirelessly to protect our community, and we are thankful that our Newhall Refinery family is safe.
Since the news broke, we have received an overwhelming number of calls, messages, prayers, and offers of support from our guests, friends, fellow business owners, and members of this wonderful community. Thank you. Your kindness means more to us than we can possibly express right now.
Newhall Refinery has always been more than a restaurant to us. It is a gathering place filled with celebrations, friendships, live music, family dinners, first dates, birthdays, and countless memories. Our team has poured so much of their hearts into making the Refinery a special part of Old Town Newhall.
While there are still many unknowns and a long road ahead, our hope and intention is to rebuild and welcome all of you back to Newhall Refinery as soon as we possibly can.
For now, we ask for a little patience as we work with the appropriate authorities and determine our next steps. We will continue to share updates as we know more.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside us and our neighbors who have all been affected during this incredibly difficult time.
We love this community, and we hope this is not the end of Newhall Refinery-but the beginning of our next chapter.
