Today marks one year since we lost Deputy Clinkunbroomer in a devastating ambush-style attack while he was sitting in his patrol vehicle. At just 30 years old, and with 8 years of dedicated service to the LASD, Deputy Clinkunbroomer’s life was tragically cut short on 09/16/2023.

As we remember and honor his sacrifice, we continue to stand with his family, friends, and fellow deputies, reflecting on his bravery and the profound impact he made. His legacy of service and commitment to our community will never be forgotten. 💙🕊️

Firefighters across this nation work tirelessly every day and commit countless hours to help protect the community. This selfless commitment comes with a risk, including their own lives. Everyday our Deputies respond to incidents with our Los Angeles County Fire Department colleagues working side by side.

Today on , the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department honors our firefighter brothers and sisters who answer the call. We pay respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of their duties.
