Stella Mare’s is a Santa Barbara local’s favorite for lunch, brunch and dinner. American French Bistro dishes are offered with fresh fish, meats and poultry cooked on our wood-burning grill, as well as fresh salads and home made desserts. Located right across the Bird Refuge in our vintage building, our unique greenhouse houses our bar, lounge and fireplace. Full bar and extensive wine and beer lists... A bientot!!

Dear friends and family of Stella Mare’s Bistro,
Stella Mare’s update… We Are Open!
The new roundabout on Cabrillo and Los Patos is open for regular traffic as well as the 101 freeway off ramp exit by the restaurant. Construction is not affecting traffic coming to or leaving the restaurant in any way.
We are OPEN, but will have to close at the end of this year since we were not offered a lease as part of the Los Patos Way new development by the new Los Patos way landlord, Runyon Real Estate Group ([email protected])
We are OPEN until December 31st, 2024; In the meantime, we thank the community, our loyal following clientele, and our dedicated staff.
We have been in business for 29 years and were NOT planning on closing anytime soon. This comes as a shock to us, and we are devastated with the outcome. At this point, we are considering all options including relocating to a new home. We appreciate the community’s continued support. We will keep you updated.
