Only the best sustainably farmed and organic meats and organic chicken are used, and they are cooked by us. Our bread and pastries are made locally by Santa Barbara's finest bakers. And we do all our own pickling. In addition to the prepared foods, we also sell an array of superb, locally produced items, such as McConnell's Ice Cream, Silver Fork Bakery brownies, Santa Barbara Popcorn Co. popcorn

It’s been quite a while since our last post. Briefly, it’s because we’ve suffered endless and tedious difficulties with the plan approval process for the new restaurant - The Daisy. However, the clouds seem to be clearing and I hope to have some good news to report in the near future.

In the meantime, here’s some ‘food for thought’.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Well, it's been a little longer than we anticipated but today we signed a lease for a new and fantastic space in Santa Barbara.

It will be more accessible, have greater choice and we will sell wine and beer.

It's early days but I will update periodically with detail and photos.

The only thing I can tell you right now is that we will be operating under a new name - but I can't tell you quite yet what the name is.

However, there is work to be done and we won't actually open for business until Spring 2018.

It's gonna be fabulous!
