DTLA - Arts District, we’re coming. 🤟🏽

There’s something about this part of the city that feels different — yet unmistakably LA.

A little raw. A little unconventional. Quietly chic.
Where artistry lives in the spaces between things, and creativity doesn’t need permission to exist.

Maybe that’s why, after a decade, we found our way back to you — carrying with us a memory that never quite left.

Fifteen years ago, our founder’s husband lived in this very neighborhood, in the heart of Little Tokyo, while attending USC for grad school. It was home then — a place where countless ordinary days quietly shaped the person he would become.

With the newest Metro connection bringing you straight into the heart of Little Tokyo and the Arts District, this little pocket of LA feels more connected than ever — to art, to culture, to community, and to everything still becoming.

We’re beautifully honored to become another little piece of art woven into this vibrant and ever-evolving district, carrying with us the artistry, craft, and purpose of torotea.

You turned a wait into a celebration! 🥹🥰

Through every moment, every conversation, and every drop of sweat running down your temples, we were there with you—and we will carry these memories into every cup we brew.

Tea has always been our way of bringing people together: a place where passions meet, dreams are shared, and a community inspires one another to keep creating, keep dreaming, and keep moving forward.

There was a time when wine became the language of slowing down.
We believe tea deserves to tell that same story.
Not by imitating wine—but by redefining what the ritual can become.

Introducing •Muscat Oolong• —our newest expression of tea. Crafted for those who seek presence over intoxication, clarity over escape, and rituals that leave both the mind and soul feeling fuller.
From it comes •Muscat Oolong Passion Bloom• —the newest addition to our Tea Mocktails collection. It carries the gesture of a fine pour, with tropical fruit, delicate florals, and the malty depth of tea.

This is more than a new drink.
It’s our belief that tea deserves a place where wine once stood—on date nights, alongside celebrations, after long days, through difficult conversations, and in the moments worth savoring.

Built between the magic of coastal calm, the unrelenting moments carved between scrubs and long shifts, and a longing for tea and spaces that feel soulful and still — this new home was imagined to carry the golden essence of Orange County.

May this project be a heartfelt testament that even our deepest inner wounds can be transformed into light for others — a quiet becoming that shaped this space to illuminate, restore, and give back.

We’re endlessly grateful for the hearts and hands who helped bring this chapter to life, and even more so for the OC community, for your support from day one, and for every drive you made to Diamond Bar long before this space ever existed.

Each torotea location is rooted in a story once lived, and this one returns to Santa Ana—where our founder’s years of medical residency once unfolded, a meaningful chapter from years ago that still lingers softly in memory.
