It was a pleasure to see some Sanibel Fresh customer’s familiar faces today. Late last year I accepted a position at Harvest and Wisdom in the Shangri-la hotel. With a talented and passionate horticultural staff the hotel has 4 1/2 acres of certified organic gardens on premise. I have been preparing some new dishes as well as some familiar Sanibel Fresh delights all certified organic!! It couldn’t have been a better fit for me and the staff has welcomed me above and beyond. Thank you for your inquiries.

We are extremely thankful for the generosity of our family, friends, and customers who contributed to the Sanibel Fresh go-fund-me fundraiser. Suzanne distributed checks for the staff who got together last night for the first time since hurricane Ian. We celebrated the holidays and made peace with the closing of the restaurant. Tears, hugs, and laughter were shared by all.
We wish you many happy and healthy holiday memories! Thank you for being a part of our lives the last five years!

To be clear and transparent with everyone, Unfortunately we will not be re-opening Sanibel Fresh. We want to thank everyone for your amazing support over the last several years and it has truly been a privilege to serve this community. While no one knows the future for sure, at this time there are no plans or efforts to continue our journey. Thank you!

This is Chef Amy and I’d like to say thank you to those of you who have been sending supportive messages and prayers as well as offering donations to rebuild our restaurant.
Many have asked about it and unfortunately I don’t know what condition the building is in.
What I can tell you is that staff, who are the heart and soul of it, have all checked in, and they and their families are all safe.
We have also heard from some of our customers and that brings us great joy.
Our livelihood and the lives of our families, community, residents, business owners, and the island workers have been completely upturned. Without your kind and supportive messages these adverse circumstances that are unraveling before us would be extremely difficult to bare.
If I hear anything on the future of our dear restaurant I will let you know.
