Everyone, we are very sorry for the short notice. Due to unforeseen circumstances with getting our new roof, we are shutting down for the rest of the day today 5/28 and tomorrow Friday 5/29. We will open for the weekend 5/30 and 5/31, but will close again Monday 6/1 and Tuesday 6/2. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Tomorrow Tuesday 5/26 and Wednesday 5/27 this location (Periwinkle Way, Sanibel) will be closed for a scheduled repair. We will reopen on Thursday 5/28 for normal operation.

We wanted to take a moment to honor our late employee Tony who recently passed away. Yesterday Lazy Flamingo 4 (Fort Myers) closed to have a celebration of life for Tony. He worked for the Lazy Flamingos for 30 years. In his early days he cooked, then went to prep later. He worked at this location (Lazy Flamingo 2 - Sanibel) before Hurricane Ian then went to Lazy Flamingo 4, which is where he worked when he passed. If you’ve been coming to the restaurants the past 30 yrs, there is a very good chance your food was either prepped or cooked by Tony.

He loved cooking and fishing. If you want to “be with Tony”, go fishing at the Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel. He spent many days fishing there.
