I hope that everyone has stayed safe during last weekend's event. Two weeks until we get to see everyone again . Special thanks to Haole & Ono and Celery City Craft for the space and time. The menu for Sept 30th is more or less set. Prices are not set yet.

The date for our limited return to the food world has been set. Saturday September 30th starting at 5pm we will be at Celery City Craft on the Haole & Ono food truck to cook up some old favorites and maybe a new thing or two as well. Menu and official details to follow shortly.

Well after quite some time and a bit of convincing from others, it has come to my attention that it is time to get back into the kitchen for some fun. Our great friends at Haole & Ono will be joining us to bring a one night event sometime in the near future featuring not only some marco dinos favorites but stones throw dishes as well. We need your help to decide what we should cook. So let us know what you would like to see. Keep in mind it is a food truck so we can't get to crazy just yet. Details to follow as we figure out exactly where and when this will happen.

I finally understand some of the frustrations people are having that we are closed. For the first time since we closed I have a craving for Italian and can't think of where I can go get what I cooked for so many years. Its too late in the day to start cooking it myself. Hopefully we can plan something for a new location in the future.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful New year thus far. Wanted to keep everyone informed on our future prospects. Several things have come into focus for us and we are continuing to examine our options and finding new opportunities each day. For those who need a food fix Harry from busters bistro and I have done a dish together for tonight. In honor of the Chili cookoff we made our own spin on chili. Chili braised Wild boar shank.Come down to busters starting at 630 and get it while it lasts.

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who came out last night for our farewell dinner. We are all so grateful for all of the people over the years who became a part of our family. It was certainly an emotional night for all of us. We hope for something to come about in the near future so we can all make new memories. I have spent a long time in this business and have never felt the love and appreciation as much as at Marco Dino's. Thank you all for being a part of the family. I couldn't have asked for a better staff to work with over the years. I can't wait to have them all back when we find a new venture. Until then thank you all from the bottom of my heart. ~chef Rich.

A special thank you to everyone who came out to support us for our last week of regular service. We really appreciate the support and kind words. Will miss the special times and wonderful words from all of you. We hope to see as many of you add possible next week for one of our farewell pairing dinners.

From all of us at Marco Dino’s we must take the time to inform everyone that effective Saturday, December 20th, we will be ceasing operations at Marco Dino’s. Regular menu will be available until Sunday December 14th. We will be doing pairing dinners the 18th-20th for a final chance for guests to have a fun event with us. This decision was made by all of us here at Marco Dino’s. We feel at this time it is best to move in this direction. We don’t know what the future will hold and hope to revive Marco Dino’s in the future but we are looking forward to a well deserved break. We thank everyone for the amazing memories. We have laughed with you all, cried with you all and shared many awesome experiences with so many of you and we are grateful for the loyalty and the opportunity to include all of you in our family. We will miss you all and hope if new opportunities arise, we can bring our entire extended family along with us for another journey. On a personal note, for the past six years I have been here and have made so many friends. People I can call my extended family. I can’t thank all of you enough for your support and love. I will always cherish those times and hope for many more wonderful memories in the future. As for my staff both past and present, I couldn’t have done any of this without you. My current staff Jacob, Ken, Gleema, Amy, Alli, and Heather have all been so amazing and supportive to this restaurant and to bringing my dream and standards to life. I can’t thank you enough. My sous chef Rikki has been with us since Marco Dino’s opening and has grown so much over the past years. I watched him go from a kid to a man and I love him like a little brother. He has done so much for us I could never put into words his loyalty to Marco Dino’s and to me personally. Without him, Marco Dino’s wouldn’t have been what it was. For the past four years Katie has been with us she went from a server to our manager and has done an amazing job. Without her smile and wonderful way of treating everyone like family we wouldn’t have been as successful as we were. I love her for being there for us over the years and hold her highly responsible for a large portion of our success. Everyone has sacrificed so much over the years and it has been an honor to work with everyone. Thank you all again for the opportunity to let us invite you into our family. We love you all. Please share this post with those you think might want the information. We do suggest reservations for the last week of regular menu service and for the pairing dinners obviously.
