Maggie Maggie has the most post shares and the most comments so far, but we are still 3rd in the voting. Those are solid metrics that suggests she still has a legit shot at this. As much as I loathe campaigning for votes, I only have 4 more days to pull this off (and then I will shut up . . . for a little while)!

Magnolia, or “Maggie” as she is known, moved to Sanford as a rescue puppy on September 5th, 2014. Named after the street she has lived on since that day, Maggie has represented her town well. A fixture at many events, and many many many local pubs, Maggie has shown off the best ways to represent and enjoy life in Sanford. She has also been a great representation of her breed and for rescue dogs in general.

For her tenth birthday coming up in 2 weeks, I would like to nominate her as the next poster dog for 2025 for the great event that is Pint & Paws.

With so many great and beautiful dogs also in the running, I do not wish to campaign or “compete” for the honor. Any of the dogs nominated would be an awesome choice for the next poster dog. But if you’ve ever met Maggie and would like to throw her a “like” (or even a "share"), here is your chance!

And remember, the main purpose of this photo contest is to bring more awareness to this great annual event. Each share of ANY of the dogs helps to drive traffic to the page and therefore more eyes on it!

Our best friends in Maine made the Bloomberg list for one of the best hot dogs in the country!!

Whether inspired by such movies as Coming To America or slathered with peanut butter or fried mashed potatoes, these unconventional franks are the all-stars of their regions.

We are on the move! New food cart is coming soon and we will be hitting the streets of Sanford whenever and wherever we can with it! Same great craft sausages and recipes, but with less overhead and man hours needed! Thanks for the support over the last many many months, we look forward to be even more "around" soon.
