I am hosting 7 days in my timeshare just 20 minutes from Temecula Wine Country, or one hour from San Diego in the Hyatt Welk Resort, Escondido, California. We have a two bedroom/sleeps 4 to 6ppl, two bath, full kitchen and access to pools, restaurants, entertainment or just simple R & R before fall. $500 per person for the entire week of August 10th.

August we always enjoy going to California for a week and usually do some wine tastings in Temecula or around the San Diego area. I have picked some recipes for this class from some outstanding chefs in California, the menu is as follows: Pickled Peaches with Proscuitto Appetizer, Luna Park Cobb Salad, Pan-seared halibut with white peach tarragon salsa. Dessert still to be determined, but I am thinking Valhrona Chocolate Almond Individual Tortes with a fresh fruit compote. We do need a minimum of 6 people for this class to be held. Wine pairings are optional for $15.00 for 3 glasses of wine. $65 Per Person in my home!

In honor of Earthy Day, let's start thinking about how we can add more vegetables to our diet. We will be cooking out of the cookbook, Vegetable of the Day. Our entrée will be Vegetarian Moussaka, all veggies no pasta! Ever thought how to add more vegetables to your breakfast or brunch?! How about asparagus with a fried egg & bread crumbs. I have to make my favorite, Quinoa-Spinach Patties and Roasted Beets with Lemon-Thyme Vinaigrette.

March 1st will start our first cooking class in 2024. Join us for Indian/Mediterranean appetizers and Butter Chicken for the entrée.
