In the summer of 1974, Sam's opened its first restaurant in a tiny former laundromat in Falmouth with six employees, ancient equipment and no seating. But founder Sam Vecchione had a dream and a secret recipe to make it come true: offer the very best local seafood available and serve it with friendly, fast service at reasonable prices. And now—with our menu expanded to over 100 items, friendly value pricing, large helpings, freshest ingredients and beautiful locations—we offer even more of the classic local flavor you love! Our Sandwich restaurant is located along the Cape Cod Canal, and for many visitors, make a memorable stop for a bite to eat before or after crossing the Sagamore Bridge.

We've all heard about a restaurant where the food just isn't the same on the owner's day off. Well, things run a little differently here.

One of our two owners, father-and-son team Jeff and Tim (Jeff's pictured here on the fry line), can usually be found in the kitchen; and when they're not, Jeff's other son Brian is managing behind the scenes. All in the family, with a shared commitment to quality and exceptional service — so you can expect a delicious meal every time you visit!

Gina has been working at Sam’s since before the Sandwich restaurant opened (yes, there was once a Wareham location, for those who remember it!).
