Something pretty special happened at P’Jerkins last night that we just had to share. One of the athletes competing in the Strongman Champions League stopped in for some Jamaican food. As we were talking, he said “I’ve eaten Jamaican food all over the world and this is the best.” and that just made our night!

To know that someone who travels the world, eats Jamaican food all over the world, and is competing among some of the strongest men on the planet walked into P’Jerkins and left with THAT feeling… whew! Now we get to see a little piece of that excitement happening right here in our town!

So Sandusky, come OUT! Bring the family, bring your friends, cheer these incredible athletes on, enjoy downtown, and show them the same hometown love you’ve shown us.

Back home, the island is alive with music floating through the streets, the smell of jerk on the grill, families gathering, flags waving, and communities celebrating the strength, resilience, and joy that make Jamaica so special. The sunshine is out, the kitchen is coming to life, and we're in here with grateful hearts getting today's home-cooked Jamaican favorites started 🫶🏽🇯🇲.

Last night at dinner, our family spent some time reading through your Google reviews as we prepared for the week ahead. We laughed, smiled, and even got a little emotional. Your kind words mean more than you know.
