Jesus' death was an act of love and forgiveness, and a way to redeem all who have sinned. God demonstrated His great love for us by sending His only Son to pay the debt of sin we owed; His amazing, unconditional love poured out through the blood of Jesus for you & I, when we didn’t deserve it. And God continually shows His love to us because even today, the sacrifice of His Son is God’s most powerful demonstration to show His love, even to His enemies. He wants ALL to come to the saving knowledge of Christ to live eternally with Him because HE LOVES US! We can never earn it because the price was more than we could ever pay.

What if God were not kind to ungrateful and evil people, people who scoffed & had no desire to know Him? What hope would there be for us? He longs & desires for us to turn from our sin & receive the gift of salvation He so freely offers to everyone who would receive His Son so He can bless us not judge us. In the same way, us as followers of Christ, should be kind to our enemies, those who are unkind, hateful and speak against us showing God’s mercy and love in the hope they will see God through us and repent and be saved. Your life is the only God they will “see” this side of heaven. What will it preach?

The love of Jesus is beyond anything we could ever compare! It is a selfless, sacrificial love. His love for us is so all encompassing and surrounds us in everything we do or say, we can’t help but return that love with every finer of our human being. And He promises we WILL find Him when we seek Him wholeheartedly with all we are. Once we find Him, He engrafts us into His side, never to leave us or forsake us.

God wants us to take note of His unique, unconditional nature of His love for us. calls attention to the wonderful exhibition of God’s love for us.
His love is self-sacrificing because of the death of His Son for our sins. That love is unconditional, untainted, unending, undiminished, undying, persistent, and insistent. We can never ‘out-sin’ His love for us. His love is greater than anything we do or say. We are called His children because of grace, adopted & engrafted into His family only by, through and because of the sacrifice He made for us by the death, burial & resurrection of His Son, Jesus.

“speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord”

KEY WORDS
SPEAKING: this doesn’t only mean literal speech but also through the next few words - psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, for the edification & encouragement of the church

Singing is a form of giving thanks to God and is not a “mental” or “from the head” kind of praise or worship. It is a heart attitude which when the heart and voice agree (singing and making melody in the heart) with gratitude, thankfulness, & love, gives all glory and honor to God. For when we do this act of praise and worship unto God, who is love, we show love to those around us and exemplify love in action.

Just as James 4:7 teaches (“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”) - when we submit ourselves to worship the Lord, we are given His authority to where we can resist the devil & his schemes & he has to leave. We will worship the Lord and ONLY Him!!

Psalm 150:6

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.”

You and I are included in the term “everything”! We were created to worship & praise the Lord: ALL living things, from the smallest insect to the largest mammal, everything that has breath in their lungs, will praise the Lord! And if we don’t, the rocks will!

wonderful things. Well thought-out plans you formed in ages past- you've been faithful and true to fulfill them all!

Knowing that God is faithful and that He changes not, gives all believers the confidence that He will perform what He has promised, and trust that He will see us through until we reach the Heaven. He promised us everlasting life and we can stand upon His promises, by looking unto Jesus. God’s faithfulness is so broad that it reaches every human need. He is faithful. He is who He is forever because He’s the God who never changes! Jesus loved us while we were still in our sin enough to tell God the Father, “I will go; send Me in their place.” We were so close to hell, yet because of His faithfulness, His character, when we receive Him as our Lord & Savior, our home is in eternity with Him! If THAT doesn’t give you reason to praise and worship Him, I don’t know what will!!!
