The Sandia Crest House is a New Mexico treasure perched atop 10,678 feet of majestic mountain terrain. Enjoy our 2-mile-high cafe and coffee house, extraordinary views and local gifts, all served with a side of serenity, just minutes from Albuquerque. Well folks... When we closed the doors for the winter of 2021, we had no idea that we were walking into a nightmare of not being allowed to sell or operate. I believe they are serious about demolishing the privately owned Sandia Crest House.

The forest service is requesting feedback through the weekend if you have thoughts you would like to share.
