ChesterDean’s Staff Member (Front of House & Back of House)
Job Description Position Overview:
We are looking for dependable, energetic, and team-oriented individuals to join ChesterDean’s as Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) team members. These roles work together to deliver excellent guest experiences through great service, quality food, and a clean, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Front of House (FOH)
* Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude.
* Answer the phone and take orders over the phone.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, restrooms, and guest areas.
* Handle DoorDash orders and ensure they are packed correctly.
* Assist with opening and closing duties.
* Operate a cash register and maintain friendly customer service.
Back of House (BOH)
* Prepare and cook food as needed.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen.
* Operate kitchen equipment safely.
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
* Assist with prep work and stocking if needed.
* Support dishwashing and cleaning tasks.
* Communicate with FOH to ensure timely service.
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable transportation
* Positive attitude and reliability
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
* Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required
* Must be able to work on Sundays
