Gil’s Broiler & Manske Roll Bakery is the oldest restaurant in San Marcos, and the only place in the world where you can come to get the famous Manske roll. A Manske roll is our version of the cinnamon roll that is made from scratch daily. But the Manske roll is more than just a cinnamon roll, it is a buttery, sweet, all natural treat that melts in your mouth, and is almost impossible to resist. We don’t make a million Manske rolls, we make one Manske roll a million times. Your roll is made individually, just for you. In addition to our famous Manske rolls, we serve fresh, never frozen, hand-formed, extra lean, ground chuck hamburgers that are both health conscious and delicious. Every morning we marinate and season the burgers you will order later that day. Just before you order your burger it is a raw marinated meatball. It does not get any fresher than that. We build your custom burger on a baked fresh-daily and preservative free bun, and top it with local produce to create a one of a kind burger just for you.
