Herbert's Grocery & Taco Hut ‼️💥
Fun fact Herbert's Grocery store was established in 1972 and 4 years later(1976) my father and mother gathered up some money from sales at the grocery store and built the restaurant next door with a few tables and our tiny same kitchen we rock and roll from to this day 48 years later‼️
Since then we've had many celebrities from country music artists, to rock bands, to famous sports figures, book authors, you name it we've served em' up. But most importantly we're proud to serve our local customers and community that we live in, San Marcos TX. And of course we love our new customers who find out about us through their parents who attended Texas State University , or good old fashion word of mouth‼️

Steam table goes out earlier today, I had to go to A Town to get a new one, a little 🌪️ hit out city, part of the town is all blacked out including my restaurant, we close up and start to install the new steam table . Three flashlights, a few tools but for 47 years this wasn't the first time this had happened, and most likely Not the last time it will, together we've always survived and we've always persevere. All leaders in our own way, we get the job done.👊🏽

Ahhhh, peace and quiet @ 7:00 AM when I have the whole place to myself doing my daily morning routine burpees. ‼️‼️‼️
Thank you to all our beautiful and loyal customers who keep us rocking and rolling in these crazy times we're living in! It's because of you all that my wife and I are motivated and inspired to keep pushing forward with the restaurant. ♥️🤍💙
