🎉 First week complete at Mendez Elementary!

What a week of new beginnings! A beautiful, newly rebuilt campus, many new students, and a few new faces joining our Mendez Cafe team.

There are always adjustments that come with a new school, but this team stepped up, worked together, and did a great job getting through Week 1! 👏

So proud of our Mendez Cafe staff and all their hard work. Here’s to a great year ahead! 🍎💜

🍕🥗 Behind the Scenes at Miller Middle School! 💜

There’s a whole lot of teamwork happening in the kitchen before our students ever make it through the lunch line!

From prepping fresh salads and fruit to slicing up hot, cheesy pizza, our Miller Middle School Child Nutrition team is hard at work making sure our students have meals ready to fuel their school day. 💪🍎

We love catching our team in action — and judging by those smiles, they might just be having a little fun while they’re at it! 😄

Breakfast was served up with a little extra flavor this morning at Bowie Elementary! 💜💛

Our Bulldogs had tamales on the menu, along with fresh fruit, cereal choices, milk, juice, and more to help them start their school day fueled and ready to learn! 🫔🍎🥛

Our Hernandez students started their morning with a delicious breakfast and plenty of choices to help fuel them for a great day of learning! 💪📚

On the menu this morning were tamales, cereal, whole-grain toast, fresh fruit, milk, and juice. 🫔🍌🍎🥛

Whether they grabbed a quick favorite or tried something different, our Child Nutrition team was ready to make sure our students headed to class with full bellies and bright smiles! 💙

Because a great school day starts with a great breakfast! ✨
