Showdown Showdown was first established in Commerce Texas in 1972, and migrated its way down to San Marcos in 1977 making it the oldest Bar in San Marcos.

Home to the Happy Minutes and the Stein Club, the price is right come check us out! Eclectic local dive bar with cheap drinks and good times. Opened 1977 by Eddie Mack and still going strong. $2 basic droughts for 3 hours after we watch The $ is Right during the week, and $2 Tall Boys all day, every day. Best Bloody Marys in town. Pool tables, Darts, Foosball, Pinball machines and great food. We open at 10am you can’t miss us!
