Meet Cassie, our kitchen badass, prepping up all the goodness you find in the grab & go case, rolling croissants & biscuits like a pro, all while running hot, fresh sandwiches to the masses. She's a beast! Her coffee order on repeat is a rotating flavored iced latte, always with an extra shot 👌

"I love spending time with family, cheering on TXST football, and finding any excuse to cook or bake something, but there has to be coffee involved 💁🏼‍♀️ I'm a proud military wife, and after years of moving around we're finally putting down roots here in beautiful San Marcos.

Some say my life is like a movie and I always have a story to share. I tend to make impulsive decisions, but somehow they always make for the best memories. Between our three cats, a golden retriever puppy joining the family soon, and whatever adventure I decide to start next, there's never a dull moment!"

STAFF FEATURE FRIDAY 🎉🫶

Shout out to Yulissa, our weekend warrior in the kitchen! She's back there stacking biscuit sandos high, plating the perfect Classic Italian and bringing it all with a smile during those Saturday rushes.

"Hi y'all! I’m from Fort Worth, Texas, and I'm currently a junior at Texas State University. I am majoring in Nutrition with a focus in Dietetics. In addition to working as a cook, I also work with Student Involvement at Texas State.

In my free time, I love traveling, hiking, cooking, painting, practicing yoga, reading, and spending time at the river. I also love hanging out with my family and friends!

My favorite menu items are the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit and the Focaccia Breakfast Sandwich; they're both so delicious! My go to drink is an iced Honey Brown Oatmilk Latte. One of my favorite things to make at home is an ahi tuna poke bowl with ponzu-marinated ahi tuna, sticky rice, avocado, cucumber salad, and pickled ginger. Its so fresh, flavorful, and one of my favorite meals"
