Who's ready for Wurst 101?
🌭 Bratwurst: traditional pork (or chicken) sausage. Course ground and slightly salty. This is the style of wurst that Beda and Helga grew up with.
🌭 Nürnberger: oldest known bratwurst style from the city of Nürnberg. Fine ground and lightly spiced.
🌭 Weisswurst: traditional Bavarian veal and pork sausage. Very fine ground. Light color, thus the name: white sausage.
🌭 Knackwurst: very tasty pork and beef hotdog. If you break it open, you hear where the name comes from.
🌭 Polish: smoked coarse pork and beef sausage with paprika and garlic.
🌭 Hungarian: spicier smoked Polish sausage, with added paprika and black pepper.
