Ox has been named one of California’s 16 Best Steakhouses by the MICHELIN Guide… a recognition of the thought and care he and his team bring to every plate, from perfectly seared steak to vibrant, locally sourced sides like our sautéed spinach.

Over 250 Guests were treated to a Gourmet Dinner by Ox + Anchor, thoughtfully crafted by Michelin Guide recommended Chef Ryan Fancher and his talented team from Hotel SLO.

From goat cheese croquettes and compressed watermelon to entrées of steak, fish, or vegetarian… this was far from your average banquet dinner. 🍽️🌟

The evening celebrated 20 years of the French Hospital Foundation, and we’re deeply grateful for all they do to keep our community healthy and thriving. 💛

We’re over the moon to re-introduce Alan Chagolla as Ox + Anchor’s new Restaurant Manager and resident Wine Director… and to welcome him home to Hotel SLO.

A beloved face in the Central Coast dining community, Alan first joined us in 2019, helping open our doors and leading the Piadina dining room through the challenges of reopening post-pandemic.
