đź‘‹ Meet Chef Ashley!
As Pastry Chef at Orchard City Kitchen, Chef Ashley brings creativity, personality, and a lifelong love of baking to the team. For her, OCK stands out because of the people, the food, and the fun environment. Surrounded by chefs she admires and a team she loves working alongside, she calls it the best place she has ever worked.
Ashley’s love for pastry started with celebrating the people around her. Birthdays and special occasions meant an excuse to bake, and she quickly became the friend making cakes and cupcakes for everyone. What began as something she simply loved doing continued to grow, eventually turning into a career in pastry. She now even creates wedding cakes, getting to play a part in some of life’s biggest celebrations.
When she is not making something sweet, her current OCK favorite is the Out of Office cocktail from our happy hour menu with Tito’s, pomegranate, hibiscus, elderflower, and lime. At home, her ultimate comfort food is her own gooey mac and cheese, while her post shift meal of choice is cottage cheese and fruit.
Outside of the kitchen, Ashley loves spending time with her son, hiking, going to concerts, and reading. And a fun fact you might not expect from our pastry chef? She used to scream in a metal band.
Looking ten years ahead, Ashley hopes she is still right here at OCK. Seeing how many people have made this restaurant their longtime home has made her want to do the same.
We’re proud to have Chef Ashley as part of the Orchard City Kitchen team. Her creativity and love for celebrating through food bring something special to our kitchen, one sweet creation at a time.
