Okay wait… I haven’t made chili in over 10 YEARS and somehow I ended up a runner-up?! 🌶️🥈😅
I went into this cook-off just wanting to have fun, be part of the community, and play around with a turkey chili recipe. No expectations… just vibes.
Meanwhile—there were 10 super talented contestants and HUNDREDS of people coming through to taste and judge 😳 So to even place?? I’m honestly shocked, humbled, and so, so grateful.
I had the BEST time meeting people, sharing food, and being part of such a fun event. This definitely lit a little fire in me again 🔥
Safe to say… if they’ll have me back next year, I’m coming for it 😉🌶️
