Burrata is a soft, fresh, and creamy Italian cheese made from cow's milk that has a mozzarella shell and a creamy center filled with fresh cheese curds and cream.

The name comes from the Italian word b***o, which means butter, and the cheese is richer and creamier than mozzarella because of the added cream.
