A kiss for Nana. A kiss for Mom. Then the rolling begins.
Every ravioli at Capurro’s starts the same way. A quiet moment, a wooden rolling pin, and a tradition that runs deeper than any recipe card could capture.
Our rolling pins have shaped over a thousand raviolis in a single session. Ten skins at a time, pressed and folded by hand the way our family has done it for generations. The lobster raviolis? Those get their own pin, a little bigger, built for something special.
And the table where it all happens? That’s a story, too. It was handcrafted by the same woodworker who spent over twenty years building custom pieces inside Robin Williams’ Sea Cliff home. Every groove in that wood holds a little bit of San Francisco history.
Some restaurants buy their pasta from a box. We roll ours on a table built with love, by hands that carry memory in every press.
Come taste the difference a family recipe and a whole lot of heart can make.
