Hello to Everyone. I want to communicate to all of you that followed and supported us at Dolce & Salato in the many years past and especially during this last year that unfortunatelly we will not be able to reopen D&S not at the previous location nor at a new site. While I have been very very sad about having to make this decision, I am excited to communicate to all of you I decided to make a career change and I will be working as a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker. Your support and introduction to anyone you know that might need my help will be appreciated now more than ever. I am looking forward to see all of you in the neighborhood. I like to wish you all a wonderfull holiday season and wish all the best for a New Year that is just around the corner. Buone Feste. A Presto!!

Some good news!!! While we are not sure about being able to reopen on the same site and if so when, we are getting more confortable in knowing we will have a temporary location open very soon. It is a long process but we'll get there. Thanks to all for the the continuous kind words, postings and phone call. I hope to see you all very soon back at the cafe.

Two buildings were badly damaged and one family has been displaced after a three-alarm fire broke out in SF's Pacific Heights.

As many of you already know Saturday Nov 23rd , the top 2 floors of the building at 3613 Sacramento st was severely damaged by fire so, even though there was no fire inside the café we are now in the process to find a temporary location where D&S can welcome our customers back. The past few days have not been easy but I certainly appreciated receiving the overwhelming support from our friends, customers, neighbors (residents and businesses), the Sacramento st. association and city departments and so many others that is impossible to name everyone. I really got to feel the warmth and kindness of everyone surrounding us at D&S as well as the other business like Luna Boutique and Marina that had her Acupuncture studio above D&S. Thank you.
I will keep everyone posted about our future location and I am sure I will send many more thanks as my mind clears up. Grazie mille.
