Joe’s Alumni Spotlight: Chanmolyta!

We’re excited to start sharing this year’s Joe’s alumni and some of the lessons they’re taking with them!

Chan seemed right at home at Joe’s from day one. Having grown up helping at her mom’s restaurant, she already knew how to work hard and what needed to be done, while always being willing to learn something new.

I was especially impressed by her time management. She stayed on top of her college applications while juggling two jobs, school activities, and helping her mom!

We reunited with middle school friends, high school friends, longtime customers, retired officers, current officers, and so many familiar faces. We also met new neighbors for the first time.

Evening like these remind us why we love being part of this neighborhood. This is what community is all about: reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, and making sweet memories together.

Birthday Rainbow Shark is our July Flavor of the Month! 🦈🌈🎂

Congratulations to Natalie from St. Monica School! Her family won our “Name Joe’s Flavor of the Month” auction item, and she chose to rename our Birthday Cake ice cream Birthday Rainbow Shark!

Birthday Cake is Natalie’s favorite flavor, and Rainbow is her second favorite. She loved all the colorful sprinkles, so she combined the two into one fun and creative name.
