Meet our Beverage Director & Sommelier, Uriel Serrano-Baldwin. Born in Nicaragua and raised in Miami, Uri discovered his passion for wine while studying culinary arts and hospitality. It was there that he found his calling: creating memorable guest experiences through thoughtful food and wine pairings.

At La Mar, Uri curates a wine program inspired by coastal wine regions whose freshness and distinct character beautifully complement our seafood-driven Peruvian cuisine. He likes to think of each pairing as an opportunity to bring guests closer to the people and places behind each wine.

This June, Cebiche Month arrives in San Francisco, Bellevue, Doha, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, and Bogotá with a special selection of cebiches inspired by the diversity of Peru.

More than a menu, it is an invitation to travel through the country through its most iconic dish: from the cold waters of the Pacific to the Andes and the Amazon, from the northern coast to the streets of Lima and the flavors of Nikkei cuisine.

Each cebiche tells the story of a different Peru: diverse, vibrant, generous, and deeply connected to the sea.
