Kahnfections Kahnfections brick-and-mortar bakery is now open for business, 7 days a week! Plus amazing made-to-order breakfast sandwiches on house made biscuits.

Founded by pastry chef Judy Kahn in 2017, Kahnfections is a neighborhood bakery café located in the Mission District of San Francisco serving classic French pastries, old-school American desserts and fun, seasonally inspired treats. We feature scones, croissants, biscuits, quiche and a range of other breakfast pastries as well as traditional desserts (cookies, cakes, brownies, etc.), all made onsite in small batches. We are excited to be part of the neighborhood!

Today we honor and remember those who gave everything. 🇺🇸

Kahnfections is open (8:00 AM TODAY, May 25th) this Memorial Day, and we’re grateful — for this community, for this neighborhood, and for the freedom to do what we love every single morning.

Whether you’re spending the day with family, firing up the grill, or just taking a quiet moment to reflect, we hope it’s a meaningful one.

Before you hit Harrison Street, hit 20th Street first. We’re open bright and early with fresh croissants, biscuit sandwiches, coffee, and everything you need to fuel a full day of dancing, eating, and celebrating.

Pro tip: grab a pastry and a Verve coffee on your way to the festival. Or stop by mid-afternoon when your feet need a break and your sweet tooth kicks in. We’re literally a few blocks from the action — close enough to hear the music, calm enough to actually sit down.

Celebrate National Salad Day in Style 😎. Our Bulgur Kale Salad, Napa Cabbage Salad, and Mixed Greens Salad are all made fresh and hit different when you’re craving something lighter. Add chicken, ham, bacon, avocado or even a hard boiled egg — because balance is personal.

Carnaval San Francisco is THIS WEEKEND and the Mission is about to come alive 🎶🪇🎭

📍 WHERE The festival spans 17 blocks on Harrison Street between 16th & 24th. The Grand Parade starts at 24th & Bryant, heads west to Mission Street, travels north on Mission to 15th, and turns east to end at South Van Ness.

🚗 ROAD CLOSURES & PARKING — READ THIS This is the big one. Driving into the Mission this weekend will be very difficult.
→ Harrison St (16th to 24th), Treat St (16th to 18th), and Mistral St (between Harrison & Treat) will have NO PARKING starting Friday 5/22 at 4:00 PM through Monday 5/25 at 2:00 AM. Cars will be towed starting Friday at 7 PM.
→ On Sunday for the parade, Mission St (15th to 24th), 24th St (York to Mission), Bryant St (17th to Cesar Chavez), 15th St (Mission to Alabama), and surrounding streets will be closed from 9 AM to ~4 PM.
→ Parking is extremely limited. If you drive, look for spots west of Valencia or south of Cesar Chavez and walk in. Garages near 16th St BART may have availability early in the day. Honestly, don’t drive if you can avoid it.

🧁 AND WHILE YOU’RE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD... Kahnfections is just steps away at 3321 20th Street — right in the heart of it all. Start your morning with a biscuit sandwich and coffee before the festival opens, or stop by for a pastry break between sets. We’ll be open both days and ready to fuel your Carnaval weekend.
