Snug Fam… We’ve got some really unfortunate news to share: The Snug is going to be closed for a while. We had a below-floor plumbing failure that caused flooding in the subfloor under our main bar level. It’s one of those “you can’t just patch it and move on” situations.

The good news / how you can help:

Taco Primo is still OPEN next door for breakfast + lunch + dinner, and supporting it right now is the *single best way* to help us get through this closure and come back stronger than ever.

🥃 Super Bowl Sunday at The Snug 🏈

This Sunday, 2/8, we’re rolling out some special cocktails for the big game with a fun and delicious bourbon! We’re partnering with K**b Creek, Eli Manning, and Suntory to bring the Eli Manning Private Barrel K**b Creek Cask Strength Bourbon — hand selected by Eli himself — and building some slightly tweaked versions of some absolute classics around it.

For the game, we’ll be featuring Snug versions of:

Old Fashioned
Boilermaker
Manhattan
Boulevardier
Paper Plane
Batanga

It also happens to be Secret Sunday, which means, If you have the password and tell your bartender when you order, all drinks are 50% off for the entire day on Sunday. No catch. No minimums. No exclusions. Cocktails, NA, back bar… whatever you’re drinking, it’s half off.

To get the password… follow us, check our stories every Wednesday and Saturday (just posted the Super Bowl password today 👀). We’ll have the game on with sound and there’s honestly not a better place in the city to post up, watch the Super Bowl, and drink at 50% all day. See you Sunday.

Tomorrow night’s gonna get spooky and weird, just the way we like it.

We’re throwing a Halloween Costume Contest, and it’s stupid easy to enter and well worth it! All you gotta do is:

Come to The Snug in your Halloween costume and order any drink of ours! A cocktail, beer, wine, zero-proof, whatever. Snap a photo of yourself in said costume holding your your delicious Snug beverage, tag , and abracadabra, you’re in 🪄

We’ll pick the Top 5 best of the bunch and repost them for a 24-hour public poll in our stories. Our followers will crown the winner, who will score a $100 Snug gift card and bragging rights until next Halloween.

🥃 THE SNUG PRESENTS: THE BUFFALO TRACE O.F.C. 1996 BTAC TASTING FLIGHT TICKETED EVENT 🎟️

Because some bottles aren’t meant to be owned, they’re meant to be opened.

After years of waiting for the right moment, that moment has arrived… it’s finally time for our 1996 O.F.C. to see daylight.

Friday, November 1 • 4:30–6 PM • $150

Join us as we crack open our Buffalo Trace O.F.C. 1996 — one of the rarest bourbons ever released — alongside a 2019 George T. Stagg overproof bourbon and a 2022 Thomas H. Handy high-proof rye. Three titans of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, poured side-by-side in a guided tasting led by our in-house whiskey savant and disciple of the mash bill, Alejandro.

For $150, you’ll get a 1-ounce neat pour of each, to linger over, argue about, and fall a little bit in love with. Considering the O.F.C. 1996 alone goes for north of $275 an ounce (if you can even find it anywhere in the country), this is the kind of whiskey deal that only happens once.

Only 12 golden tickets will be released. Tickets will be available via The Snug’s Resy, going live this Friday at noon. The link to the events page will be posted via our stories and available via this post starting at noon on Friday. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
