It all happened so fast…on a fluke some might say. 😏

We both worked corporate jobs and literally sat back to back in our cubicles. He’d steal snacks from my hidden stash tucked way in the back of my top drawer and I’d trade him for the Mexican candy his mom would send from back home.

I left corporate first and tucked myself away helping family on a food truck. A year later, he called me up asking where life had taken me. Curious, he came looking for me…and somehow worked his way right back into my world.

Together we dove headfirst into truck life before eventually deciding to build something of our own.

We barely had a plan.

No name. No roadmap. Just a couple ideas and enough guts to try.

Truthfully, I was terrified. Once things started moving, they REALLY started moving. We didn’t even have a name for the first two pop-ups we did. We kept asking ourselves:
What do we call this?
How do we even describe our food?

Meanwhile, I was 7 months pregnant with our second baby, running purely on faith, adrenaline, and baby brain.

But he believed in us so deeply that eventually I did too.

We had these ridiculous alter egos we’d joke about whenever we needed confidence to do something wild:
Frankie & Grizzly.

Just characters we created to hype ourselves up.

Who knew 8 years later it would become the name hanging on our storefront.

Life’s funny like that. A good friend of ours gifted us this and my heart flutters each time I walk past it. Imagine that…our alter egos on a street sign ✨✨✨

Happy Friday, familia!! Thanks for the pause yesterday! It was much needed but WE are BACK!!

It’s been just me and this guy for a long time now, from corporate, to trucks, to pop-ups to this! It’s been an all organic, slow to grow process, but we’ve loved every minute. Thanks for loving us through all of our stages!!

A lot of ya’ll have been along on this ride with us for a long time and have witnessed the growth alongside us…these busier services and larger catering orders have been fun to conquer and navigate with just the two of us and the help that we can get from our friends and family. We appreciate the patience and support you continue to show us as we work through it all.

Excited for another busy weekend with ya’ll! Come see us! ♥️♥️🙏🏽🙏🏽✨✨
