Sushi Zone is Closed – But Not Forever

After so many unforgettable years, Sushi Zone is officially closing its doors. It’s been our honor to serve this community since 1997, and we’ve shared countless memories with you all, from first dates to family traditions and everything in between.

It’s a sad moment for all of us, and we felt the love and support from every single one of you. This place was more than just a sushi restaurant, it was a second home.

But this isn’t goodbye forever. We’re actively looking for a new location, and we promise to come back even stronger. So don’t be too sad — we’ll see you again soon at our next chapter.

We are open today, but next week will be closed. We will open from July 7 to July 12. And July 12 will be the last day to say goodbye to this location which filled with memories since 1997.
This place has been special to so many; some shared their first date here and now have families of their own. Some have been dining with us since the early 2000s and still come to this day. We’ve made countless memories here, but now it’s time to say goodbye.
We’ll share updates here if we find a new location.

Sushi Zone Will Be Temporarily Closing on July 12

After proudly serving the San Francisco community since 1997, Sushi Zone will be closing its doors on July 12. This decision comes with a heavy heart, as our landlord has decided not to renew our lease, making us to leave the space we’ve called home for nearly three decades.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of sharing countless memories, celebrations, and meals with our amazing customers. Your loyalty and support have meant the world to us, and we are truly grateful for the love you’ve shown.

This isn’t goodbye forever — just a pause. We are actively looking for a new location to continue serving you the sushi you love. Our journey isn’t over, and we hope to reopen soon in a new space where the Sushi Zone spirit can live on.

Stay tuned for updates, and we look forward to welcoming you back when the time is right. Until then, please come visit us before July 12 for one last meal, one last memory, and one final thank you.

We will close from June 30 to July 7.

Good news — the front door has been fixed and we’ll be reopening today. Looking forward to seeing you all then! 😍

We all work hard to earn an honest living, but sadly, there are those who choose to take advantage of others' efforts. It’s heartbreaking to share that our restaurant was recently broken into. Tablets, and our cash register were stolen. The front door was damaged and needs repair, and we’ll have to reorder supplies, including new tablets. Because of this, we’ll need to close for two days. Hopefully, we will try to reopen Sushi Zone on Friday May 23 2025.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support during this difficult time.
