This Women’s History Month, we honor our owner and founder, Deanna Sison.

Deanna is the visionary behind Little Skillet, Victory Hall, Lady Victory and MESTIZA four restaurants rooted in culture, community, and care!
Inspired by her Filipino heritage, her European upbringing, and years spent cooking alongside her mother, Deanna built more than restaurants. She built gathering spaces. She built platforms for culture. She built community.

Since 2008, Little Skillet has served comfort and connection in SoMa.
In 2013, Victory Hall became a cornerstone for craft, conversation, and celebration.
And with MESTIZA, she continues to remix flavors and traditions, honoring her roots while creating something boldly her own.

As a Filipina business owner in San Francisco’s hospitality industry, Deanna represents resilience, creativity, and leadership. Her work reflects a deep belief that food is power — and that bringing people together around a table can shape a neighborhood.

She is the force behind these spaces.
She is the vision that keeps them growing.
