An excellent autumn retreat.

Cosy, comfortable, stunning location
My husband and I spent three wonderful days in the mountains this summer as part of our honeymoon, and stayed at Hameau Les Cleves, in one of the private chalet rooms.
We were staying out of season so it was fairly quiet but nevertheless our hosts, Daniel and Anne-Marie, were incredibly attentive, and nothing was too much trouble.
Our chalet was extremely comfortable and equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee machine. All our meals, cooked by Anne-Marie, were delicious - so much so that we didn't feel the need to eat elsewhere for most of our stay! After a long hike in the mountains, it was wonderful to return to a hot shower and an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the breathtaking scenery.
Overall we would highly recommend a visit to Hameau Les Cleves - a very friendly place to stay with beautiful views and delicious local food and wine.

A warm welcome and quality cuisine
Only a short walk from the telecabine station in Nendaz, this restaurant is picture - perfect and what travellers from the UK expect Swiss cottages to look like. Perched on the mountainside with glorious views, you could travel up by car but we walked along the Bisse de Vieux and then the narrow road to Les Cleves.
We received wonderful personal attention by the couple running the restaurant (I think they were the owners) alongside good food and wine recommendations.
We enjoyed a drink outside before eating in the restaurant. In the summer the building, both outside and in, is wonderful - but I imagine that in the winter it is spectacular.
We visit Nendaz regularly so will definitely come back during the snowy season!!

Must do!
Magnificant location, stunning views, at the slopes with ski in and ski out.
We staid 3 nights with 3 children in the hotel. Had great breakfast and lunch and a excellent dinner. Very warm welcome at 23:30 after 10 hours in the car is exactly what you need. Cosy (small) rooms, good shower, play room and good bar. Very friendly staff. We will be back!

a great local restaurant
The new management at this sweet restaurant could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The food was yummy too, especially the rosti with tomme. The menu was a bit limited for the kids but they were more than happy to rustle up some pasta for them. They are well located off the piste and there is parking nearby if you want to drive there. The views are fantastic. We were staying up the road so we only ate here.
