This sweet moment on our last day as the owners of Beloved Cafe in San Francisco’s Mission. It’s hard to describe the feeling of wrapping up 8 years of love and devotion to a vision of nourishing the community with healing foods. The bittersweetness of handing over the keys to our managers with our blessings to carry the vision forward. There is peace in knowing that Beloved will live on for another chapter and sweet sadness in relinquishing a much loved business to make space for the next big adventure in our lives. This cafe grew us and forged our leadership and our relationship as partners in business and in life. The lessons we have gained are priceless. In some cosmic way, this thread will be woven into the tapestry of life and used for some other sparkling creative endeavor 💜

Come celebrate Beloved Cafe this Sunday Aug 18th! ✨

The end of an era is near! While we are still eagerly planning to transfer ownership to the managers of Beloved, we haven’t finalized the transfer and still need your good wishes and support.

Please come by on Sunday 9am-5pm to eat great food, drink tea, and connect with community for one final day.

Owners Kami and Amy will be serving up tea all day 🍵 Bring instruments if you’d like to offer a song or two 🎷🪘🎸🎶

We look forward to seeing you there!!

As many of you heard by now, last week we announced that Beloved Cafe's final day of operation will be August 18th. It came with a lot of sadness and a huge outpour from the community wishing for the continuation of Beloved.

Our managers Ana and Jenny and their sister Yohana (a former manager of Beloved) expressed their desire to continue operating Beloved Cafe and carry on its mission as its new owners.

We are deeply touched by their commitment to seeing the cafe forward and acknowledge the tremendous undertaking of being a restaurant owner-operator.

Jenny and Ana are urgently asking for your support in raising money for early operating costs.

Please read the following message from Jenny & Ana:

Dear Beloved Cafe Community,

We need your help to continue working at a place we’ve called our second home for the past seven years.

We were initially shocked and sad about the news of Beloved closing after so many happy years serving the community, but there’s a silver lining for us if we can get your help. The owners have given us there opportunity to continue Beloved Cafe as the new owners.

We are so excited about this opportunity!! But we need your help, or it will be lost. All donations will be used for start-up costs which include staffing, inventory, equipment and building maintenance, licenses and legal fees, along with many other items.
