We’re diving deeper in our friendships in Burundi and you’re a part of it!

We are helping organize the building of three (!!!) clean water wells around Bumba Hill for famers who have to travel long distances just to fill their jugs and walk them back home.

Our baristas are all in and want you to join us! All you have to do is buy Bumba coffee and we’ll send 100% of the sales to the well projects with our goal of $25,000 to provide clean water for thousands of families.

We’re almost there and you can help us get to the finish line with just over $6,000 to go!

From July 1–5, every bag of coffee purchased in our cafes helps amplify this collective effort.

Last week we hosted an epic dinner for our amazing teams at Saint Frank and Juniper turning a new page in what has become a beloved tradition inspired by the 1987 Gabriel Axel film Babette’s Feast*

This powerful story of artistry, generosity and grace continues to give us new insight and energy to our mission and work of inspiring joy, connection and meaning through everyday extraordinary things we all share.

This is a story and an evening filled with over-the-top paradoxes of extravagance and humility, of skilled artistry and selfless service.

We are so grateful for our wonderful community of baristas, bakers and roasters. Grateful for our spaces and places where we have the blessing of pursuing art and hospitality together.
Nights like this remind us that“ in this beautiful world of ours, anything is possible.”

Happy Thanksgiving from Saint Frank,

This day is one my favorite days of the year, not just for feasting but for the opportunity to be grateful.

Gratitude is one of the joyful ways to ground ourselves when it feels harder than ever to live that way.

We have the occasion to look for the goodness we can be grateful for that isn’t necessarily earned or self-created. It’s an occasion for rest in grace for a moment.

I’m always humbled and warmed by the kind of grateful groundedness I see in so many of our farmer friends.

Its like a superpower I want to grow in.
They show me I can.

I hope we all get a little piece of that heaven this holiday, especially when we get that first sip of coffee with pie.
