First and foremost, we want to say THANK YOU — truly, from the bottom of our hearts. The outpouring of love and support this past week moved every single one of us to tears. The hugs, the handwritten notes, the messages, and those of you who came in to share one last meal with us… each gesture meant more than we can ever fully express. You reminded us why we do what we do, and why this community has always felt like family.
We sincerely hope we’ll have the joy of celebrating more birthdays, first dates, anniversaries, job promotions, and unforgettable moments with you all again in the near future. Serving you has been one of our greatest honors.
Before we go, we have one heartfelt request. It has come to our attention that a Change.org petition has been started. We ask that you stand with us — and with all the small businesses that make this neighborhood special — by helping prevent a national franchise from moving into the Richmond District. Allowing it in would be devastating for the countless small businesses that rely on this community’s support to survive. We’ve included a link to the Change.org petition below, and we hope you’ll lend your voice. Together, we can protect the character, the soul, and the local pride of our neighborhood.
